I went to Bangalore by bike to create awareness: Actor Ajith

Recently Ajith had gone to Bangalore in his race bike. It was mentioned that he had gone to Bangalore to participate in the bike race. Ajith gave an explanation to this. He while speaking to us said, "I did not go to Bangalore in the bike for a jolly ride.

I went to create awareness to people that they should wear helmets when they ride a bike. Since I wore two pieces race gear does not mean that I am going to participate in a race. People who observed me would have seen me wearing a dress with shoulder and knee pad. People who go from home to office should wear this kind of safety dress.

Many say that why should they spend so much for this. If a person meets with an accident he has to shell out Rs 7000 for a MRI scan. Instead of spending for this, we can spend it for the safety. There are people who say that if we were such dress, there will be no air. It is better to sweat than bleed. I don’t want to say that where I went in Bangalore. I am happy this journey was meaning full."
