Raghava Lawrence after the great success of Muni had produced a sequel to the film titled Muni Part 2-Kanchana. This film was also a great hit. Now he is making a film titled Muni Part 3- Ganga.

Kolaveri Anirudh was signed for composing music for this film but to some reasons, he walked out of this film. Then S Thaman was signed to compose music for Muni Part 3.
Thaman while speaking about this film said, " I had earlier worked with Lawrence in Muni Part2. I know very well what he expects from me. Lawrence has made this film on par with international standards.
I have already started composing music for songs. It is very challenging to compose music for thriller films. I have taken extra efforts for this film than my earlier films. Taapsee is pairing with Lawrence in this film. The shooting of this film is going on in top gear. He has decided to release the film at an earlier date."
